Information I collect

Information you send me. When you use the contact form or email me, I receive what you provide: your name, email address, school or district, your role, and your message.

Information collected automatically. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

I don’t use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking tools on this site.

Please don’t send student records through this site

The contact form and email are for general inquiries. Please do not include student records, evaluation results, health information or other confidential details. I’ll arrange a secure way to share those once we’re working together.

How I use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and discuss services you’ve asked about.
• To schedule consultations and communicate with you about that work.
• To keep basic business records.

I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not share it for advertising.

Service providers

I use a small number of providers to run this site and handle messages: Cloudflare (website hosting) and Google (fonts, email, and Google Sheets for organizing inquiries). They process information on my behalf under their own privacy terms.

Student and family information

Student records or evaluation information shared with me in the course of professional services is handled in accordance with applicable federal and state privacy laws, including FERPA and the California Education Code, and the ethical standards of school psychology practice.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records, and I delete it sooner if you ask.

Your choices and California privacy rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information you’ve sent me by emailing lpc.schoolpsych@gmail.com. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, correct and delete personal information. I don’t sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law, and I won’t treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This site is meant for school professionals, attorneys, advocates and parents. It is not directed to children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
